This summer is coming to an end since school is already back in session, but that doesn’t mean our road trips are over!  We have a couple more planned including a camping trip and a trip to Florida.  When we go on a road trip especially a long one, we do not stop often as we are usually trying to get from point A to point B as fast as possible.  Therefore, I always pack lots and lots of snacks because when we get hungry we do not want to have to stop!  Plus when we get to our destination, I always like to have snacks to enjoy.  Do you know where I like to stock up on snacks for my road trips?  Walmart, their prices are always great and they have so many different choices to choose from.

In today’s post I am going to take you on a behind the scenes trip to Walmart to stock up on snacks for our upcoming road trip.  In a future post, I will tell you all about our trip and how to keep kids entertained in the car!

Smucker’s Fruit-Fulls are not only full of fruit but also non-messy in the car.  Plus the larger sized package are perfect for older kids and adults.

My personal favorite snack is the Jif To Go Cups in reduced fat!  I can use any of my favorite dipping items including salty pretzels, celery sticks or apple slices.  Each one of these pairs well with the creamy peanut butter making for a satisfying snack.  Jif To Go cups of peanut butter have 9 grams of protein each!

You can never go wrong with Smucker’s Uncrustables.  We love peanut butter and jelly in our house so these our perfect for the road.  Plus these make my life easier without having to make sandwiches when I am trying to get everything else ready for our trip.

If you’re headed on a road trip make Walmart your SNACKATION destination!

What’s your favorite snack for road trips?
