St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow

February 25, 2015 By: mybigfathappylife

St Patrick's Day Puppy Chow or Muddy Buddies | mybigfathappylife.com

Puppy Chow (also known as Muddy Buddies) is a favorite in our house that I do not make nearly enough!  I decided to try my hand at making St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Chow because adding marshmallows to anything is a good idea 🙂  Especially since the Lucky Charms marshmallows are my daughter’s favorite part of the cereal.

I enlisted S’s help to make our St. Patrick’s Day themed Puppy Chow.  She was a great help and separated all the Lucky Charms marshmallows from the cereal.  I think her favorite part though was when she got to shake the bag of Puppy Chow!

Well, this is brilliant! I’ve always loved Puppy Chow/Muddy Buddies, and adding the marshmallows from Lucky Charms makes the treat even more delicious! (I’m totally in agreement with your daughter — the marshmallows are the best part of Lucky Charms!)

I normally bake a dish using Guinness for St. Patrick’s Day. I might have to change up my game and give these a try, though!

Thank you so much Erin! Anything with Guinness has to be good! 🙂

I could eat the entire bowl full of those puppies! 🙂 Speaking of lucky charms, one of my grandkids picks all the marshmallows out and eats them and leaves the cereal part in the bowl. This is a great St. Patrick’s Day snack.

I am pretty sure that’s what S does 🙂 She asks for a bowl of lucky charms and then says she’s full but the bowl is still full of the cereal! Thanks so much Alli!
