How to Support Your Children to Be the Best They Can Be + $100 Visa Gift Card Giveaway (closed)

July 22, 2016 By: mybigfathappylife

My daughter, S, loves to be creative.  Some of her favorite activities include scrapbooking, painting and drawing to name a few.  If the house gets quiet, it’s not unusual to find her painting (or reading a book).  I am always looking for ways to support her and encourage her to continue to follow her passion.

Taking L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™ helps support her healthy eating to ensure she gets all her essential nutrients in a day.  Below are some ways that I help S to be the best that she can be. There is also a giveaway below for $100 Visa Gift Card – be sure to enter!

Supplies and Dedicated Space

S loves art, so I always make sure to have pencils, notebooks, paints, paper and scrapbooking supplies on hand for her.  I remember one time we were at a craft store when S was 4 and she saw pigment sticks and had to have them.  I told her if she could tell me what they were for I would buy them for her.  We walked out of the store with pigment sticks that day!

I also have a dedicated space for her to keep all of her art supplies and scrapbooking supplies.  This way whenever she feels creative she knows exactly where to find her supplies.  She has her own desk in the office opposite my desk for scrapbooking.  In the dining room, she has a shelf on the bookcase where she stores all her painting supplies.

Displaying Artwork

The one thing that I think is very encouraging to S is her knowing how much I enjoy seeing her artwork.  We have several areas in our house to display pieces of her art.  I prefer clips on the wall, so that I can rotate out her artwork.

We also have a wall in her playroom to display some canvases that she has painted over the years.

Healthy Habits

I am a big believer in taking vitamins to provide essential nutrients.  I grew up taking vitamins and have continued as an adult.  Even though it’s important to me to make sure my daughter is eating healthy, she still takes her own vitamins to help support her healthy habits.  Ensuring that my daughter is getting all the essential nutrients that she needs to follow her passion is very important to me, so she takes L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™.How to Support Your Children to Be the Best They Can Be #LilCritters #sponsored | mybigfathappylife.com L’il Critters™ has been infusing fun into children’s nutrition with its line of delicious kid’s gummy vitamins and supplement since 1998. Treat your children to a tasty vitamin that contains essential nutrients without any chalky aftertastes or hard-to-swallow pills. What I love about L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™ is that they are tasty and easy to chew, gluten-free, and are made with natural fruit flavors and colors derived from fruits, vegetables and plants.  They also have no high fructose corn syrup and no synthetic (FD&C) dyes.

Wanting to try L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™?  Visit their website for $1 off coupon and shop at your favorite mass retail store, drugstore, grocery store or club store.

I always make sure the kids in the family are well supplied with all the materials they need to be creative and satisfy their curiosity.

No kids. I volunteer at the botanic gardens and love to teach kids about plants and our world.

My baby is only 17 months so I’m still very much learning how to support her but right now I’m trying very hard to allow her to try things on her own and realize that it’s ok for her to say no and have an opinion even at this age. I want her to learn what she likes and explore that even if sometimes the timing is inconvenient or it isn’t something I would have picked.
