We were recently introduced to a new to us Preschool and Kindergarten App by Kids Academy. This app helps young children learn or practice their ABCs, numbers, shapes and reading in a fun way.
The app has great graphics, colors and nice soft music. The app is easy for S (4 years old) to navigate on her own. I especially like that the app congratulates my daughter after she writes a letter – positive reinforcement I believe is important!
I love that this app is a great supplement to S’s learning and provides her with a fun learning environment while we are on the go. S enjoyed playing the app and now asks to play the “owl game”.
You are able to try out the Kids Academy app for free in the iTunes store here. However, to unlock all of the worksheets and games you will need to purchase each individual activity for $2.99 or the whole bundle for $9.99.
I look forward to trying more Kids Academy apps in the future.

Seems like all the cool apps are coming out now. I wish they were around when my daughters were in Preschool and Kindergarten, it would’ve made learning so much easier and fun! #ProductReviewParty
