There is nothing like warm, ooey-gooey homemade heart-shaped berry sweet rolls for breakfast on Valentine's Day!

Are you looking for an easy recipe to make on Valentine’s Day?  This recipe uses a shortcut for making homemade heart-shaped berry sweet rolls, which would be perfect for showing your family how much you love them on Valentine’s Day! This recipe would also be great for an anniversary or just a fun weekend treat. 

With this easy shortcut, the heart-shaped berry sweet rolls will require very little hands-on time in the kitchen. Want in on my shortcut…I use crescent roll dough which is a great base for sweet rolls. The end results are delicious warm, ooey-gooey heart-shaped sweet rolls straight from your oven at home!

These heart-shaped berry sweet rolls served warm to your family are the perfect breakfast for Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, or just to show your love. Your family will love these warm, ooey-gooey heart-shaped sweet rolls and beg for you to make them again and again.

Easy Heart Shaped Berry Sweet Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams together. 

Mix together raspberries, strawberries, cornstarch, and sugar. Spread half of the mixture evenly on top of the crescent roll dough. 

Start from the longer end and roll up the dough until it reaches the halfway mark. Then roll up the dough from the other side until it reaches the halfway mark.  Cut the dough into 12 pieces and pinch the ends to form a heart.

Place rolls into a greased baking sheet, pie pan or casserole pan.

Repeat with the second package of crescent roll dough.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla combined. Add milk to get the desired thickness.  Then drizzle over sweet rolls.

Easy Heart-Shaped Berry Sweet Rolls

Ingredients

    Sweet Rolls:
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 5 oz frozen raspberries
  • 5 oz strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Cream Cheese Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1-ounce cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-4 tablespoons of milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
