Disney Cruise Bucket List

January 24, 2018 By: mybigfathappylife

Disney Cruise Bucket List

There is so much to see, do, and experience on a Disney Cruise that you do not want to miss any of it!  This Disney Cruise bucket list will get you prepared for your ultimate vacation.  Even after nine Disney Cruises, I have more things that I want to do on the ships, themed cruises to take, and destinations to visit.

6 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Embarkment Day on a Disney Cruise

Here’s my Disney Cruise bucket list:

  1. Kick off your cruise at the Sailing Away deck party.
  2. Do a scavenger hunt for hidden Mickeys around the ship.
  3. Deck out your cabin door with Mickey magnets.
  4. Participate in Disney trivia with other shipmates.
  5. Get your drawing animated at dinner at Animator’s Palate.
  6. Eat at one of the 18-and-over restaurants Palo, Remy, or Enchanté.
  7. Hang something special on your fish extender.
  8. Take an animation, towel folding, or napkin folding class.
  9. Book a veranda room for an ocean view.
  10. Watch the cute Diaper Dash in the lobby atrium.
  11. Watch new releases or your favorite Disney movie at the ship’s indoor theater.
  12. Relax in a hot tub or swim in the pool on the deck.
  13. Attend a themed event like Pirates in the Caribbean.
  14. Go to a beer, wine, or cocktail tasting.
  15. Catch a live performance in the Walt Disney Theater.
  16. Visit Disney’s private island: Castaway Cay or Lighthouse Point (coming soon).
  17. Take a photo with Mickey and Minnie in their cruise attire.
  18. Get a massage at the ship’s spa.
  19. Ride the AquaDuck water coaster or AquaDunk waterslide or AquaMouse – the first-ever Disney attraction at sea.
  20. Get a selfie with a Disney princess.
  21. Collect as many character’s autograph as possible.
  22. Take time to talk to the captain or crew members.
  23. Try your luck at bingo.
  24. Cruise on a themed cruise: Halloween on the High Seas, Very MerryTime Christmas, Marvel Day at Sea, Pixar Day at Sea, or Star Wars at Sea.
  25. Watch a movie on the funnel vision screen on deck.
  26. Sip on one of the drinks of the day.
  27. Relax and listen to live music in the evening before dinner.
  28. Buy exclusive Disney Cruise souvenirs in the shops.
  29. Say “see ya real soon” at the trip’s closing performance.
  30. Cruise on all five Disney cruise ships: Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish.
  31. Become a Disney Castaway Club gold, platinum, or pearl member.

Have you taken a Disney Cruise?  What would you add or what are you looking forward to the most?
