New Orleans for Kids: Little Pnuts Toy Shoppe

We were invited to attend the grand opening of Little Pnuts Toy Shoppe in New Orleans.  You may be familiar with Little Pnuts Special Delivery quarterly subscription boxes.  Their Special Deliveries are full of eco-friendly, organic and sustainable toys.  The same theme carries over into the new toy shoppe where you will not find any toys that require a battery.

The toy shoppe is organized based on children’s ages.  All infant toys are together, toddler, preschool, etc.  everything is beautifully arranged and customer service is awesome!  Talk about personalized service, just let Melissa and team know the age of your child and they will gladly make a recommendation.

There is a marble activity set setup in the store that S loved!  It was nice to have her occupied while I browsed the shoppe.

We purchased a couple items, my favorite is Haba’s Animal Upon Animal game.  This game is perfect for a quick activity before I make dinner or while dinner is cooking.  I wrote about more ideas for connecting with your child at the end of the day here.

If you are in the New Orleans area, I highly recommend a visit to Little Pnuts Toy Shoppe, located at 209 Harrison Avenue in New Orleans.

Although my girls are older I still think they would enjoy this shop. Too bad there isn’t one near us.

Definitely! They had items for children up to age 12. Lots of games, puzzles and arts and crafts items.
