Nourishing Kids Creativity

January 18, 2016 By: mybigfathappylife

My daughter has been asking her Papa to build her a treehouse for a while now.  She even has the treehouse all planned out with lots of big windows to let a breeze come in and so she can see out whether she is sitting or standing, real furniture to decorate the space, toys that will not melt in the heat and a roof.  Her creativity and reasoning amazes me every single day!  I want to constantly encourage and fuel that creativity.

One of our favorite ways to refuel is with the Nesquik chocolate milk in individual serving bottles.  Nesquik has 7 essential vitamins and minerals, 45% less sugar than the leading syrup brand and has no artificial colors and flavors.  I love that they are the perfect size for my daughter.

The individual bottles are able to be stored in the pantry that way I can stock up (I am already planning on taking a multi-pack on our next camping trip).  Remember to refrigerate after opening.  I am happy to provide S with a delicious drink that also helps fuel her creativity.

S wasn’t the only one refueling with Nesquik.  It takes a lot of energy to build a treehouse and decorate it.  However, Nesquik has the ideal 3:1 ratio of carbohydrates to protein that science suggests is optimal to replenish exhausted muscles.

I foresee many adventures, frequent tea parties, plenty of reading, numerous daydreams and copious amount of fun happening in this treehouse.

I am so excited to see her dream treehouse come to life right in front of her.  There is no better feeling than seeing your child so very excited!

Special thanks to my dad for bringing S’s dream to reality!

How do you nourish your child’s creativity?
