I enjoy having a clean house, but I’m not talking about a spotless “nobody lives here” house.  Let’s face it with a 6 year old, a messy husband and a puppy my house will never be completely clean.  However, when my house is clean, I feel less stressed and more motivated.  I do not like or want to spend a lot of time cleaning, so I am sharing my top 4 tips for keeping your kitchen clean that you can do everyday.

4 Tips for Keeping Your Kitchen Clean

1. Use the right tool to clean with: Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges remove tough, baked-on messes 50% faster and can be used on pots, pans, oven racks, grill racks, tools, tires, and sinks.  Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges are safe for non-stick cookware, countertops, cooktops, tubs, shower tile, windows, and dishes.

Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Soap Dispensing Dishwand (also available in Heavy Duty) is perfect for when you do not want your hands in the mess and dispenses dish soap with the push of a button.  Scotch-Brite® makes it easy to know which sponge to use on what surface based on color.  Green is for heavy duty messes and Blue is for Non-Scratch clean up.

2. Shine your sink by placing dishes and pans in the dishwasher and scrubbing your sink each day.  When the sink is empty of dishes, I feel like my kitchen is so much neater.

3. Spend 5-10 minutes every evening before bed wiping down counters, stove, the front of the refrigerator and removing items from the kitchen that do not belong (my mail always gets piled in the kitchen).

4. Keep all your cleaning supplies together in a convenient location.  I keep my sponges on a glass cake plate along with my hand soap for easy reach.  All my other cleaning supplies are kept under my kitchen sink.
