As a military dependent for 16 years, while my dad served in the Army, I am always look for companies and ways that I can support our military. I was so excited to learn that Marie Callender’s announced the return of the Comforts from Home Project. This program is a partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO) that’s dedicated to bringing the feelings, flavors, and favorites of home to those who miss it most.
Marie Callender’s Comforts From Home Project
The Comforts from Home Project provides a “home away from home” for our deployed troops stationed around the world to make sure every holiday, small or large, is celebrated. The program brings the comforts of home such as seasonal meals, company, entertainment and a chance to relax away from the stress of active service to our troops.
When our military members are away from home knowing that they can still experience the feelings, flavors and comfort of home from Marie Callender’s is so heartwarming.
Last year, with customers’ overwhelming support, Marie Callender’s brought care packages to a very deserving group of servicemen and women stationed overseas through a $250,000 donation to the USO2GO program.
How You Can Participate in the Comforts From Home Project
From now until January 20, 2016, you can help give to the USO Operation Celebration program by entering on-pack codes from specially-marked Marie Callender’s frozen meals and desserts. Each code that you enter equals a $0.50 donation.
It is so easy to enter the codes to support the Comforts From Home Project. Just visit Marie Callender’s website and input your code found on the back of the box. Then, enter your state before getting a confirmation. You can also check to see how many codes have already been entered.
Legal: For every entry by 1/29/2016 of an 8-digit code found on participating products, Marie Callender’s will donate $.50 to the USO Operation Celebration program. Guaranteed minimum donation: $100,000. Maximum donation: $300,000. Limit 5 code entries per person/computer each day. Valid in U.S. Only.
