On our recent trip to Sydney, Australia we stayed at the Ace Hotel Sydney. The hotel has a hip vibe that we absolutely loved, the staff provided great service, housekeeping was excellent, our room was gorgeous, and the location was perfect. We also enjoyed visiting The Lobby bar for an evening drink. We would definitely stay at the Ace Hotel Sydney again or one of their other locations.

Location

Great location!  Ace Hotel Sydney is set in the Surry Hills neighborhood near Hyde Park and the Anzac Memorial. The Ace Hotel Sydney is also a short walk to the Australia Museum. It is close to public transportation (just a couple of minutes to walk to the Museum train station which connects to the Central train station). Circular Quay including The Rocks and Sydney Opera House is only 2 stops away on the train.

Room

The hip rooms are on the small side, however, we had plenty of room for the three of us as it was well laid out. We really enjoyed the vibe of the hotel and the rooms. Our room had 2 beds along with a couch pushed up to the floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. The room had a smart TV, Wi-Fi, a safe, a coffee maker, and a mini-fridge.

Restaurants/Bar

The Ace Hotel Sydney has multiple restaurants and cafes including a rooftop option, Kiln, The Lobby bar with craft cocktails and small plates, LOAM for all-day dining, and Good Chemistry cafe and bar. Room service is also available.

We would stay at Ace Hotel properties again, because of the hip vibes and feel of the hotel paired with the kind employees and the excellent housekeeping.
