When you think of RaceTrac is the only thing that comes to mind gas? I recently visited RaceTrac’s Test Kitchen in Atlanta and oh my goodness I was so impressed. Not only did their food and drinks taste amazing but they also use the freshest ingredients.
Let’s talk about what gets me going in the morning. My daughter usually wakes me up in the morning. My first cup of coffee follows closely behind. I am not a morning person!
Truthfully we do not usually eat traditional breakfast items early in the morning. And apparently a lot people don’t either because RaceTrac serves more 100% beef hot dogs and soft drinks between 5-10am in most markets then any other food and drink item!
Let’s talk coffee because like I said earlier I must have a cup as soon as I roll out of bed. RaceTrac uses the highest quality of Arabica beans and quality checks them FIVE times!
Things are changing at RaceTrac, you’ll notice stores starting to be remodeled, when they open back up there will be more food and drink options. Some stores are rolling out with coffee like you can get from a coffee house: lattes, espressos, mochas and cappuccinos. This offering is currently only in a handful of stores.
Something else I am really excited about coming to RaceTrac is the ability to custom make breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and pizzas at a kiosk. If your RaceTrac does not offer this yet it may be coming but in the meantime you can pick up a wide selection from their grab and go section.
Did I just pick up ice cream for breakfast? If your RaceTrac doesn’t have a Swirl Whirl, they should be arriving soon with a toppings bar. I had Tigers Blood, a mixture of Vanilla Ice Cream and Italian Ice, and while the color was not LSU themed I loved the combination.
I’ve saved some of the best for last! RaceTrac has their own packaged chocolate, gummy bears/worms, chips and wine. Don’t worry I had no problem sampling them all for you! I am super impressed with their chocolate. I loved them all including chocolate covered pretzel bites, almonds and blueberries. RaceTrac’s private label wine is $8.99 a bottle, but the flavor was amazing especially paired with their chocolate.
So if you walk into a RaceTrac for breakfast and want a pizza or a sandwich or a breakfast sandwich or a 100% beef hot dog with toppings or fruit or a parfait they will not judge you. Tell me what gets you going in the morning?
