December 2, 2014 By: mybigfathappylife

Disclosure: I received two months subscription for free to facilitate this review. All opinions are, as always, my own.

I do preschool at home with my daughter, S, so I am always looking for different ways for her to learn.  I thought that the Space Scouts monthly subscription would be the perfect way to expose her to space/planets/astronomy.

What is Space Scouts?

Space Scouts monthly subscription club for kids is a delightful learning adventure aimed at discovering the wonders of the universe! Each month your child will explore a new place in space — stepping into the worlds of space exploration, space science, and astronomy.

Join Roxy and Jett as they scout about the galaxy engaging your child in fun learning activities, hands-on discovery, and exciting challenges. Packages arrive each month filled with fun additions to your collection — magnets, stickers, toys, and more!

Our Thoughts

S could not wait to open up the box and explore outer space.  She immediately put together the puzzle scrambles.  The worksheets I ended up helping S with some, mostly reading directions.  S loved the toys especially the robot arm, which she used on everything!  I even got her to make her bed and clean up her playroom using the arm. Score! 🙂

The lunch box that you get the first month is the perfect place to store your constellation cards, magnets, planet poster and worksheets.

This is a fun, educational way to learn about space and astronomy.  If you have a child who loves outer space or one that you want to introduce to space exploration this is the perfect monthly subscription.

On a side note, I am in love with the graphics – they remind me of the Jetsons! 🙂
