These buttery, tender Petite Vanilla Scones are easy to make and are perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Have you ever tried the Petite Vanilla Scones from Starbucks? It is one of my favorite food items to get from them along with their Lemon Loaf.  These scones are buttery, tender, and full of vanilla flavor. They are perfect with a morning cup of coffee or tea.

Even if you have never tried the Petite Vanilla Scones from Starbucks you definitely need to try this recipe! The best part is that it is perfect to eat for breakfast, a mid-morning snack, tea time, or even dessert! Or all of the above I won’t judge. The scones are so easy to make which means they are perfect if you have visitors. I also have a copycat recipe for the Lemon Loaf – click here.

Petite Vanilla Scones

In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Next, add the sliced butter to the food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles cornmeal. While the food processor is running, stream in the half & half and vanilla extract.

Once the dough has turned into a ball, turn off the food processor and split the dough into three equal sections. Flatten each section into a circle that is about 1 inch thick. Cut each section into 6 triangles and pull the triangles slightly away from each other.

Bake the scones for 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden brown on the bottom.

To make the glaze, combine powder sugar, half & half, and vanilla extract. Once the scones are cooled drizzle the tops of each scone with glaze.
