Grinch Drink

December 19, 2014 By: mybigfathappylife

Grinch Drink #Christmas | mybigfathappylife.com

As soon as S saw commercials for How the Grinch Stole Christmas this year she started asking to watch the movie and to drink the “Grinch Drink”.  I am always amazed at how much she remembers!  It was last Christmas that I made a special drink for her to enjoy while watching the movie.  S notices the details and she enjoys when I do something extra special for her, so I love to do that for her.

The Grinch drink is easy to make with just lime sherbet and ginger ale!  I like to rim the glass with colored sugar.  I found the easiest way to do this is to flip the glass upside down and place in a bowl with a little water in it.  Place some colored sugar on a plate and place the wet glass in the sugar.  I move the glass around a little and make sure the whole rim is covered.  Then place a couple scoops of lime sherbet in a glass and cover with ginger ale.  Add a paper straw.

So cute and so easy and they put a smile on S’s face 🙂

This drink was my youngest daughter’s favorite while growing up. What a great idea to rim the glasses with sugar and it looks like a grown up drink. So adorable!
