Creating the Perfect Photo Booth at a Party

With the end of October fast approaching, we decided to have a Halloween party!  Dressing up is not just for kids, but for the adults too!  A fun part of any party is a photo booth which is especially perfect for a Halloween party to document everyone’s costumes.  However, having a place for your guests to immediately be able to print out the photo booth photos makes your party perfect.  The HP Social Media Snapshots makes this task super easy!

 

Tips for the Perfect Photo Booth

• Set up your photo booth with a fun, non distracting background
• Provide fun photo props: you can purchase online, try creating your own at home using an editing software, use small chalkboards where guests can write their own message and/or items that you may have around the house such as hats, glasses, etc.
• Allow guests plenty of time to partake in the photo booth
• Provide your guests with a way to print their photo booth pictures: my favorite way is to use the HP Social Media Snapshots app and paper – details on how to below

Your guests will need to download the HP Social Media Snapshots App in the iTunes Store or Google Play and connect wirelessly to your printer (I used an HP Envy Printer).  Your guests can choose a template, add a caption and print out photos taken in the photo booth directly to your printer on HP Social Media Snapshots paper now available at Staples.  It’s that easy!  

You can also connect your social media to the app and print photos from Facebook, Instagram or Flickr.
