Have you heard of Barkbox? It’s a monthly subscription box for your dog. Well in my house it’s really for S because she loves to spoil our dog with treats and toys. When you sign up you choose the size of your dog so that the toys and treats are appropriate. Also, 10% of proceeds supports dog rescue groups.
This month’s theme is all about college football! I love that Barkbox themes their boxes, so much fun! S asked me to record her unboxing this month’s Barkbox 🙂
Inside our Box
PetProjekt Skrubal Football $14.00
This is the perfect toy for us to use outside to help Sugar Ray get some exercise. He loves to play catch, so I am thinking this is perfect for fall.
Barkworthies Sweet Potato Steak Fries $8.00
These treats are a healthy alternative for dogs and are made from 100% sweet potato. Sugar Ray was a little hesitant at first because he wanted to know if there was something better in the box, but he has eaten all of the ones we have given him
Etta Says Duck Chew $4.00
Sugar Ray loved this duck chew and it was gone in no time.
Safemade Pet Pawxford Pennant $7.00
This is a Barkbox exclusive, however my dog hardly plays with toys unless it’s a ball or frisbee, so while it is cute it probably will not get much use.
Petsafe Indigo Smokehouse Strips – Bacon $7.00
These treats are made from 100% pork and they smell just like bacon. Because there are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives these treats must be refrigerated after opening. Sugar Ray is a treat dog so he loved these.
Conclusion
This month’s box is valued at $40.00, however I only paid $15. That is a really great deal and I do love that Sugar Ray gets to try new, healthy treats. S loves receiving this box in the mail each month. I think she enjoys it as much as getting her own box. Therefore we are going to continue our subscription, but I am hoping for more treats with maybe only one toy a month.

It is so much fun – my daughter loves opening the dog’s box.
This box looks great! I tried a different dog box once before and wasn’t happy with the contents. I’ve been hesitant to try another because my dog has some food allergies, but he could eat everything in this box. I may have to give this one a shot.
I like that most of the treats are made with natural products. My dog can have a sensitive tummy, so quality treats are important.
Wow, there is a subscription box for everything! Now pets can get in on all the great products. I wish I had a dog but no room so we have a couple of goldfish. I wonder if there is subscription boxes for fish? LOL!
